ISO9001 certification assures that Kingspan Renewables utilises a methodical approach to the control of company systems and manufacturing procedures. By use of a directed quality programme the company can monitor consistency of performance and the progress against set objectives. Focus is given to continuous improvement, manufacturing consistency, product quality and customer satisfaction.

International Forum Design

In 2005, Thermomax DF100, HP100 and HP200 collectors were awarded the International Forum Design award for excellence in product design.

 

 

Solar Keymark

Thermomax products were the first company to receive the European quality mark for solar collectors - the Solar Keymark.

Awarded by the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), the Solar Keymark provides assurance that the product complies with the highest European Standard(s). Solar collectors and solar thermal systems are vigorously tested concerning their efficiency, usability, safety and reliability. The following quality criteria are for example subject to the testing of solar collectors:

Thermal efficiency

• Internal and external thermalshock resistance
• High temperature resistance
• Freeze resistance
• Internal pressure resistance
• Mechanical load (e.g. snow and wind loads)
• Impact resistance
• Exposure (simulation of operating conditions / outdoor exposure)
• Rain proof
